Jam Loves the KIDS!
Reminds me of my chorus days in grade school. My teachers always did a good job but we didn't sing cool songs like these. Much respect to the teachers doing what they can in a system that needs much restructuring.
From my favs! Just wanted to share. Be blessed!

Massing Matter
The Present:
I was there,
Your proud confidante
By your side
(My) Eyes nimble
(My) Emotions open
(Our) Electric energy emits beween us,
Atoms bouncing to and fro
Fuel to continue in the present,
Our gift
The Future:
We have a home in the quiet North
Not too far from my early cherished childhood days,
Uncreated memories manifest
Flash in my mind as I study you,
The young one is a genius
Way ahead of his time
We count on his visits for laughs to last us later,
Fuel to continue in the future
Our magic
...the dream...
.....reality.....
Wires crossing confusing signals
Mistaking relationship for what should be the other
I've done this before, to my embarrassment,
Wishing our maturity to see before I get there
Making attempts to adjust colors and frequency
I want to be held and heard as well
Warmth in the night is a sweet sweet treasure
Massing matter in the wrong shape

In the Morning
Woke up humming this song before reluctantly rolling out of bed...
I was on alternative rock/ pop pretty hard back when this came out. White girl soul music isn't so bad folks. Great song writing gets me every time no matter who's singing it and don't front you watched Dawson's Creek too. Lol
